Day’s Verse:

Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.

1 Tim. 6:6-8

In the Daniels laundry room, tucked deep in the bowels of the Daniels basement, I found this picture by accident. Sitting in there waiting for our laundry to be finished, some piping along the ceiling caught my eye. Handily, I had thought to brought my camera to pass the time, and so I took the picture. The flash went off accidentally, but thankfully I did not erase that picture because it turned out best of all the Daniels laundry room pictures. So beauty exists even in such a dank, smelly, depressing place as a basement laundry room populated mostly by lint-bunnies and abandoned socks.

Today I must devote even more wholeheartedly to studying. Between me and freedom stand Major British Writers final, May 10; and Major American Writers final, May 11. I will slay them both with the sword of much-studying.
