I bought a $14 tree octopus shirt. I hope that doesn’t come back to bite me as a waste of money, but it’s so cool! Also Calc continues to confound me; I just am not getting it, and my motivation level remains low. Ian has been working hard in the Spin Lab while I ignore our IQP briefly to do two writing assignmens and more math. I’m not sure if I should take Calc 2 next semester; it is not required for my major and if I have this much trouble in Calc 1… it makes me feel kind of dumb, to struggle for hours over problems that kids in my class do in 3 lines and 5 minutes. Also I wish our math TA knew some English.
