Day’s Verse:
“Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give him the throne of His father David; and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.” Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I am a virgin?”
Luke 1:30-34

Do you think it’s true that the best, most valuable things never come easily?
I’ve put some work into the Io’s Child site, but I still don’t like how it looks. I would appreciate input on that, and on the story’s development in general, if you’ve taken any time to read it. I like, in general, how it turned out, but hearing other takes on it would help a great deal too. Thanks.
I hate to complain too much. But frankly, I’m feeling totally swamped and maybe if I whine about it here I’ll feel better. So, things I have to do:
Yesterday: 2 read-aloud Marketing articles (very time consuming)
Monday: Writing Assignment #3 (time consuming)
Tuesday: Math Exam on Ch. 7-8 (stressful)
Tuesday: Math Homework Ch. 7-8 due (time consuming/stressful)
ASAP: Memorize prodigious list of integral forms (time consuming/hopeless)
ASAP: Learn how to integrate (hopeless)
ASAP: IQP Revisions(time consuming)
Coming Up: Math Final Exam (very stressful)
Paper-writing I can do, although this assignment is nebulous. Math homework I can do because the integral forms are all on a sheet right in front of me. But I can’t seem to get the various formulas to stick in my head, and that makes the exam and final pretty darn hard. But I think I have complained enough; I’m tired of reading my own whine so you probably are too. If anybody made it this far.
As a bonus for your reading fortitude, an interesting fact: Lesley’s hamster, William, has balls as big as his head.

Well, I’m not sure the hamster fact was really a bonus for reading the whole thing. . . 🙂 Gee, I’m glad I’m not trying to get a college degree!
