Day’s Verse:
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil…

In blog news, I added the “Position Blogs” link in the links box. This will take you to blogs in which I express a particular opinion on such topics as abortion, gay marriage, and evolution. I will add to this as I write more thoughtful blogs.
We interrupt this program for a special food bulletin. Stroganoff should never be made with Campbell’s Garlic Cream of Mushroom soup and lasagna should never include pineapple cottage cheese. This has been a public food bulletin. We will now return you to your normal programming.
In Katie-is-Weird news, “I don’t care what you do with it – burn it, tear it into little bits, feed it to the dogs, discombobulate it – but don’t give it to me.” Thus spake I of a Saturday night, while still asleep.
And in academic news, the term is wrapping up quickly. I have two tests, one today and one tomorrow; but for today, I am unconcerned because it is Biology and I nailed the lid in the Bio coffin last Friday. Still, I intended to learn some of the material he covered but I don’t anticipate I’ll learn everything: in two days we went from arthropods through mammals, even managing to hit lophophores in there too. Even the finest student could not hope to learn all the details of each of those groups in two days, so I don’t feel too bad. The test tomorrow I’m a little more worried about; it’s Rhetorical Theory and when I sat down to think about how to rhetorically analyze the paper (we get to look at it ahead of time), I completely drew a blank. As if I’d never had Rhetorical Theory at all. That will take some reviewing of what skills the class has taught, but I have always done alright at in-class essays. I just trust my general writing and thinking abilities will hang in there for the whole two hours.

Countdown:
2 days to home.
You make use of your vocabulary even in your sleep!! haha
With me it probably would have been something like “gershmermableargh hamster erfvjkls..*snore*”
“Hamster” is a pretty challenging word for somebody who’s asleep, you know.
Mmm, I could use some beef stroggie right now.
