Day’s Verse:
Let all who take refuge in You be glad, let them ever sing for joy; and may You shelter them, that those who love Your name may exult in You.
Psalm 5:11

I would have titled this post “Luck o’ the Irish to You”, but when I thought about it I decided I would rather forgo Irish luck, thanks very much. I’m only here because of the infamous Irish Potato Famine drove my ancestors to America’s alluring shores. Still, it is St. Patrick’s Day so I encourage you to do something fun – have eggs and pancakes dyed green for breakfast, or dump a handful of clovers over your loved ones, or take the opportunity to mercilessly harrass anybody who has a) Forgotten it’s St. Patrick’s Day; or b) Failed to wear green. In this manner we can all revert to junior-high behavior for a day and people will excuse it with an eye-roll and comment about overexuberant holiday-celebrators. This also works well for April Fool’s Day.

So take a while and enjoy your excuse for immaturity. After all, tomorrow the immaturity will still be with you even after the excuse is long gone.
