Well sports fans, once more my brilliant intellect is skewing the curve in my classes. That’s right: I got a 98% on my last bio exam, the highest grade in the class, and a solid A on my Writing Assignment #1 in Visual Design. But in all honesty, it wasn’t my smarts that pulled this off: if I were on my own, I think lately I would just turn into a puddle of gleep. I praise God for His sustaining strength and for giving me a sharp mind that can accomplish these things. For all I’ve whined about the impossibility of life and academics lately, the struggle has made me rely more on God and less on myself. So I hope that my grades to point straight to the One without whom I would be nothing. God’s grace, love, and sustenance have and continue to carry me when I’m far too weak to struggle on alone.
