Day’s Verse:
“In my Father’s house there are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you.
I am going there to prepare a place for you.”

Light & FabricRemember how I came home to the USA last Saturday? Well, today I go home to Seattle after one whirlwind week in Worcester. I have just started adjusting to East Coast time, so now I anticipate a few exceedingly early mornings back at home because 6:30 AM here is 3:30 AM there. So I’ll get to see some sunrises with the dog, who’s always happy to come out and play, regardless of time of day.

I have a couple small jobs lined up, which is a nice change. I’ll work for a week with NWABR and somewhat longer for BCS. In the spare time, should I have any, I will spiff up my resume and start sending it and a cover letter out to any and all companies who might hire TC majors. Strange to think of starting a real, honest-to-goodness career job within a year; but I’m more than ready and I think I’ve got enough skills that employers would seriously consider me. That search process starts now, because I’d like to get interviews over Christmas break or to fly home for over the 10 day between-term breaks. So if you hear of any technical writing type jobs between Oregon and Vancouver, point me in that direction — I’ll be all over it.

…I sure hope somebody wants to hire me… *Anxious*
