Day’s Verse:
Thus says the Lord of hosts,
“Consider your ways! Go up to the mountains, bring wood and rebuild the temple, that I may be pleased with it and be glorified.”

Haggai 1:7-8

I want to point out a particular site. Usually I don’t post links, but this one is more than worthwhile. It’s Stop Global Warming, a virtual march on Washington DC. They describe themselves:

The Stop Global Warming Virtual March on Washington is a non-political effort to bring all Americans together in one place, proving there is a vast consensus that global warming is here now and it is time for our country to start addressing it.

The US’s behavior about global warming has been utterly abominable – refusing to sign the Kyoto treaty, refusing to significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions, on and on. The list seems endless. Sign up and you can at least make a small difference here. Click here to see my personal page.

  1. I am not sure that this web site proves that there is a “vast concensus” on this subject, but it does seem like a step in the right direction. It is certainly true that there is an overwhelming amount of scientific evidence indicating that the current environmental warming trend cannot be explained by natural causes. Some people prefer to deny this, but then there are people that believe in UFOs, bigfoot, and a flat earth also.
