Day’s Verse:
“I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail;
and you, when once you have turned attain, strengthen your brothers.”

Building ReflectionsI have a confession. I HATE those Support Our Troops magnets that everybody sticks on their cars. They make me want to vomit. As it turns out, so does my pal and co-Bible Study leader Nora. To harrass her, her friends from New Jersey stole those ribbon-shaped magnets and stuck them on her Cutlass. On our Monadnock Hike we took the magnets from Nora’s car and slapped them on other cars in the parking lot.

So her car has heretofore remained ribbon magnetless. Today after church, however, we parked right next to a car with a blue, yellow-edged ribbon magnet that said

Support Strippers

and I knew Nora had to have it for her car. So I took it from the white car next door and slapped it on Nora’s fine brown granny car. And that is the end of my story. I am a thief…of a $0.50 magnet.

Also, I am going home over October break, getting to Seattle at 11:00 on the 14th and leaving on early on October 22nd. My parents kindly paid for my (rather expensive) ticket because they love me so much. Awwwww.

  1. I am on the lookout for “Support Hose” and “Support Underwire” and “Support Groups” magnets. Now THOSE I might adhere to my vehicle…

  2. It’s the new “Got ______ ?”. Instead of “Got Spider-Man?”, we can now look forward to “Support Spider-Man”, or the full-on “Support Your Local Neighborhood Spider-Man”. Oh, those kids!
