Excited to briefly see blue sky this morning. Foolishly assumed it a day-long phenomenon, so whiled away hours. Emerged at 11:30 to discover grey drippy cloud cover. Disappointed but walked to Safeway nonetheless (left sad dog at home). Returned victorous with four varieties of cheese.

Yesterday sorted through Ian’s boxes: Keep – Take to Worcester Now; Keep – Bring Later; Give Away; Throw Away. Found many child treasures (broken clay monster consisting of mouth, eyes, and horns & one silk strand my two favorites) and many long pointy swords. Did this earlier with my boxes, but have begun rethinking my choices. Apartment needs more storage space.

Since Christmas sister and I have digitized tapes of Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, the Shadow, Hank the Cowdog, and Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Thus far the recordings total approximately 1.5 gigs.
