Day’s Verse:
Who are you, O man, who answers back to God? The thing molded will not say to the molder, “Why did you make me like this,” will it?

A Good Day 1Spending a long time away from my apartment opens my eyes when I return: My goodness, dust covers everything here! Behind my computer and monitors, my desk is a veritable warren of dustbunnies. We exterminated quite a family of dustbunnies before leaving, but they seem to have bred rapidly while we were away. I notice them particularly coating my sleek black technology. Nothing shows dust up like a smooth black surface, and nothing attracts dust like monitors and computers. There is a simple solution to this problem, of course: create dust-colored technology! All desks, computers, cables, etc., can simply allow the bunnies to blend in, eliminating the need to constantly run damp cloths over all technology-related surfaces. I cannot imagine why nobody has implemented this brilliant idea before.

Classes started yesterday. Ho, hum. Thankfully they look to be a little easier than I expected; the ECE class and my Cell Bio class both could have been exceedingly difficult, but the professors seem to be steering away from that in both classes. My English class requires us to read Frankenstein and Brave New World, both of which I have read at least once. I anticipate a fairly smooth term; hopefully none of my classes will disrupt that anticipation. Now, if I could only find gainful employment as smoothly…

  1. I’m glad that classes don’t sound like they’ll be too hard this term. Our record rainy days attempt is still going strong. I feel the need to hibernate with all this gray weather!
