Day’?s Verse:
And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment—wickedness was there, in the place of justice—wickedness was there.
Ecclesiastes 3:16

Let me preface this by saying this: Boy do I love chocolate chip cookies. Or cookies in general. If there was a way to have a strawberry shortcake cookie, that would be pretty much my ideal cookie. But for now I settle for cookies involving chocolate (this batch I made with Ghirardelli and Nestle chocolate chips). Which explains why my eating from yesterday features the word cookie so many times.
5:55 — One chocolate chip
6:15 — Milk & vitamin
10:20 – 10:50 — Oatmeal
11:35 — Two bites of chocolate chip cookie
12:20 — String cheese
1:30 – 1:50 — Salad
1:55 — Chocolate chip cookie (the rest)
3:50 — Chocolate chip cookie (whole)
8:10 — Hummus, tortilla, orange, chips, chocolate chip cookie
Do we see a pattern emerging here? However, I hypothesize that chocolate chip cookies help me ride my bike faster, as after eating all those cookies yesterday, I fairly easily rode my new bike at about 20 mph average home yesterday evening and about the same speed to the train station this morning. Forget Wheaties; cookies are the food of champions!
You da Cookie Monsta!!
you know, in order to test your hypothesis according to the scientific method, you need an accurate sample size, with the variables. i figure one month of chocolate chip cookies, one month of straight chocolate chips, and one month of none should do it. i think by the end of the two months you would be sick of chocolate anyway so it will all work out. i look forward to reading your published findings in the journal of nutrition and cycling.
science!
