Spurred by the realization that I will probably still live here during the next presidential election, and that I can’t reasonably throw my political $0.02 in if I don’t vote, I have at last registered to vote in Massachusetts. Well, I mailed the registration form today, anyway, and thank goodness they say you can use a MA driver’s license or social security number: I still sport the stylish, vertical Washington state driver’s license I obtained shortly after Ian and I got married. By now I drive so infrequently I’ve just decided to abide with the out of state license for another couple years to save the hassle of changing back when Ian and I move to Washington again.
