Alas, 90% of my readers live in Kirkland, Washington, but even so, I’m putting the call out there: I need about eight people who would be interested in taking a bike class with me. This email I received from Mass Bike is why:

We unfortunately don’t have any insturctors in the Worcester area. If you can organize a critical mass of 6 or 8 people who would definitely sign up for a course though, we could discuss sending someone out there to teach a class.

I had asked if they might have classes held somewhere other than Boston or Northampton (two extremely inaccessible places for me). The answer? We hold classes where there are instructors or lots of people. So, I need lots of people. And I have decided that my new goal for a while will be to become an official, licensed bicycling instructor.

I cried at work today for the second time ever. It was a very bad day.
