Day’?s Verse:
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Galatians 1:3-5

You know I get excited about bike stuff. I rave about my clipless pedals, my waterproof, butt-flapped, armpit-breathable jacket, and my amazingly functional fenders. Have I mentioned that it rained all last week? And did I say that I stayed twice or three times as dry as before, getting almost zero water from the road thanks to the fenders I had installed a month ago? Wow. Seriously. I keep hoping for more rain, just for the novelty of staying dry riding on wet roads.
But this bike thing I read about in Make magazine is I get really excited about: the Down Low Glow. I mean super, super excited. In short, it’?s like a really strong fluorescent light that attaches to your bike and glows incredibly brightly. It lights you up unmistakably from the side, so at night cars can’?t miss seeing you, and plus it comes in a sweet, pimped-out blue that I doubt I will be able to live long without. This would make my night riding 100% more fun, because I will no longer wonder Can this car see me? I will know that car sees me, and additionally, the driver probably envies my sweet lighting system.
The only question is, how long can I wait to buy one? I would ask for it for Christmas, but so much night riding will happen between now and then…
Dear Katie, For your safty that is so important,$100.00 is not much to pay. Do not wait till Christmas, get it now. Hugs to you both,Grandma
Yes. Ditto. Word. I concur.
I would dissent with the webpage regarding it being “stealthy” (isn’t that exactly not the point?) but would not disagree that it’s an incredibly sweet-looking lighting system. Go for it.
