Ice, Ice, Biking

~~~
Day’?s Verse:
Women must likewise be dignified, not malicious gossips, but temperate, faithful in all things.
1 Tim. 3:11
~~~

Riding to work today in what WeatherUnderground describes as a freezing rain mist, I experienced a sensation altogether new to me: A layer of ice froze over my jacket and cracked every time I changed position. Icy mist clung to my glasses. A light ice formed on my gloves. My bike, lights, and handlebars developed a thin film of ice. Icicles formed as water dripped onto my helmet and froze. I dripped all over when I came in, shedding little bits of ice and water as it melted.

Based on this experienced, I decided that I will not pursue a career as a snowman.

    Doesn’t the day’s verse you’ve included apply here? Aren’t women supposed to be “temperate” – not freezing? :)
