After riding 88 miles on Davey this weekend, my legs are totally pooped — and, for the first time in a long time, they’re sore, too. I had an OK ride; joined up with a Team in Training group for a little while around Boxboro. Those five people comprised only 1/5 of the total cyclists I saw out today: Yesterday I saw 2 other people on bikes. Today I saw 23. It helped that today the wind calmed down and the temperature, although nowhere near balmy, nudged into the low 40s.

The weather tomorrow calls for a high of 43 degrees and a 60% chance of precipitation, with some of that as snow turning into rain later in the day. So much for those glittering clear (if wintry) sunny days. Back to Charlotte tomorrow.

I am really tired. Excuse me while I go take a nap before bedtime.
