Man’s days are determined; you have decreed the number of his months and have set limits he cannot exceed.
There’s something satisfying about getting a really good deal, even for things you don’t need. But there’s something even more satisfying about boasting about your incredible success to other people, and that’s why I’m writing this post:
Because today at REI I bought these slippers, normally $45…
For Ian we found these shoes, normally $90, for $30.
It felt like stealing, but it was legal. What a deal. (I did manage to not purchase the Ortlieb panniers that were a steal — they were tempting, but since I don’t even own a bike rack, I could hardly justify it.)

I need to see of our REI have the same deal on slippers as you got, really like them.Jane
I think it’s at all REI stores, so hopefully you’ll be able to find them. I did have to dig through a couple bins of miscellaneous shoes and was lucky to find a pair in my size. I’d go soon if you could, since when we were there the REI was pretty well swarmed with people snapping up great deals. Good luck!
