Today IT sent out the following message:

We are experiencing issues with our network and email systems due to a number of external and internal issues. We are working to resolve and appreciate your patience as we work through the issues.

This tells me that we’re having issues because of issues. Thank you, IT, for the extremely helpful clarification. (I’m going to let the other egregious proofreading error slide because you’re IT people and I expect a low level of English-language competency from you*.)

I also received a flyer: $5/per week for a membership to World Gym. After much serious deliberation, I decided not to pay $260 a year for that fine service, although I know I really could use the exercise. I know I won’t but, you know, I could just use our apartment complex’s workout room if I wanted to get fit. But like I said, I’m more of a couch potato — never liked exercise or getting outside much — so I don’t think that’s in my future either.

* Not IT or computer people in general, as exceptions do immediately spring to mind.
