Today we received an innocuous-looking shoe-box-sized package in the mail. When we opened it, it contained the American flag my family received when Grandpa Sullivan passed away. Ian and I speculated about hanging it from our loft, but experimentation quickly revealed a flaw in our plan:
The good news, as Ian pointed out, is that now we can start our own car dealership with a flag this big!

you could use it as a duvet. or several shower curtains. or a tarp. or you could make a sweet fort with it and your couch cushions.

It’s made out of bunting, which isn’t exactly soft and cuddly.
However, it is really high quality — each color is a separate piece of fabric, and every star is embroidered on. We’re thinking of hanging it lengthwise along the loft wall, although how to attach it will be interesting.
