[A noble wife] is like the merchant ships,
bringing her food from afar.
We are at Al’s Oasis in Chamberlain, South Dakota. It’s much nicer than the place we stayed last night, an Aggie’s Inn-type experince (for those family members who remember that) at a place called the Budgeteer. More on that when I get home. Apparently we arrived at the height of hunting season, and there are tons of hunters here. I talked to a couple of guys who came all the way from Georgia to hunt! We have had a fast and productive trip so far, each taking approximately two 3-hour driving shifts. Missoula, Montana, here we come!
Anyway, we were waiting for the continental breakfast to appear, but since it isn’t forthcoming, we’ve decided to head for Spearfish, the first Starbucks location between here and there.
