Day’s Verse:
My beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. The person who refuses to love doesn’t know the first thing about God, because God is love—so you can’t know him if you don’t love.
1 John 4:7-9

For days the forecast has predicted snow today. Nobody really believes weathermen, though; mostly I take a “wait and see” approach to the weather. But this morning, meteorologists all around the Northwest were vindicated when a few little flakes floated down, proving that their predictions were all right. They never said how much snow, so doggone it, those few dandruffy flakes make it all worth it. Clearly I should break out the hot chocolate and snuggle up with a good book in front of the fireplace. Definitely can’t go out today, since it snowed.

I did, however, brave the elements to attend Journey Church, a new church that’s meeting at Kirkland Junior High. They reminded me very much of Fellowship Church about three years ago, and I definitely came away wanting to visit again. I’m excited about this church like I haven’t been for any church in a long time. We’ll just see what happens next Sunday.

  1. What is interesting about Journey Church to you?

Jordan and I will be needing a place to attend for the couple of weeks we’re up there; maybe we can go together.
