The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know. Pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well so we can be quietly about our business of living simply, in humble contemplation. This is the way our Savior God wants us to live.

I woke up this morning feeling oodles better. Not one to jump to conclusions (it being a damp swim back from that much-visited isle), I decided to wait a while to see how I felt later. I’m happy to say that it’s now later, and I still feel oodles better. Amazing what sleep and time can do for a body.
My head is hurting, that’s more due to my spending the afternoon trying to complete a TIP Application. Here’s a screenshot of page 1:
Ugh. I’m pretty sure the devil himself created this application. I’m equally sure that grant-writing and related writing are absolutely not for me.
No word yet from the manufacturer on the new fork, but I have a bet that I won’t see Artemis at least a month. I’m already trying to resign myself to not having a pretty pearlescent pink fork, but it’s tough; I loved every minute of my time on it, and I sure did get a lot of compliments on its stylishness. Sigh. Guess I’m not cut out to be stylish.
On my commute in, I managed to get up to 21.6 mph on the red bike. I consider this quite an accomplishment, on par with getting a U-Haul truck over 80 mph.
