Despite low viewing rates, I continue to update Not Quite Newsworthy frequently. Today you can read about a $99 hamburger, a man with the world’s stretchiest skin, and other fascinating topics. It’s worth checking out!

The last day or so I have devoted entirely to writing the first draft of my part of the IQP. It goes quickly, but we have a lot of material to cover before next Wednesday when Errrrrwinnnnnn wants to see the rough draft. How rough will he accept it, do you suppose? And seriously, who would not want to read a huge document titled “Understanding the Market from Hollywood Scripts Adapted fromo Books”?

Yesterday I got a package from Mom that had been crushed completely on one side and corner: WPI actually marked it “rc’d crushed,” an indication of its smooshed-ness. Thankfully, the flour sifter I’d been anticipating for a week survived the trip intact and even unbent, although a cute recipe book (the other occupant of the box) was bent into complete uselessness. My estimation of UPS continues to drop; Lesley suggests USPS, and I think I may have to switch.
