Day’s Verse:

He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and exist…

Acts 17:27b-28

Look! At least our apartment isn’t in the deep-freeze zone. And if we forget and leave food out on the counter, we don’t have to worry about it spoiling any time soon. Last year we had the fridge so cold various things started freezing; we found ice (there is some leaky water source in the fridge) atop our tupperware and considered increasing the temperature a tad. If only we could increase the ambient Apartment B temperature. In lieu of that, I made up a little analogy describing our situation:

Our apartment is to heat what a sieve is to water.

In other news, I am thinking of joining a writing club at WPI. I need to get out and make more friends, considering the fact that I spend all my time with about three different people. This seems sad, when I think of it that way; what kind of person lives such an isolated life? You might think that since I spend so much time alone I would have lots of interesting ideas or insights; but alas, most of that time washes away more quickly and less usefully than water in the flush of a toilet.
