My father once again has had a letter to the editor of the Seattle Times published; look for Joe Sullivan. This one’s just about strong enough to take the enamel off your teeth, or the paint off the side of a building. Be warned.
Interesting, isn’t it, what you can turn your intelligence to? Here’s a guy who designs devices to save lives because he thinks using engineering to kill is wrong. But in a moment, three sentences, he’s slashing and burning an opposing political viewpoint with the ruthlessness of farmers through the priceless Amazon rainforest. This is a side of my father that we don’t see often, a bright but mercilessly hot blade through conservative butter.
