Day’s Verse:
[Love] is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered,…bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1 Cor. 13:5 – 7

We look a little filmy in this picture because it was a long exposure. Also I am experimenting with different backgrounds for the blog and have successfully gotten the blog looking tolerable in Netscape/Firefox. Still having title issues (it should NOT just be a silly little link) and problems with text placement in the Links and Ian’s Blog box.

Here’s the reason for this post, for which you can thank our roommate’s dad:
Once upon a time there was a dog walking across train tracks. It paused to sniff an intreaguing smell as a train zoomed by and lo! its tail had been squished by the passing train. The dog turned around to investigate this poor mutilated thing that had been its beautifully fronded wagger when suddenly another train zoomed by, decapitating the poor canine.

Moral of the story? Don’t lose your head over some nice tail.
