Day’s Verse:
May Your unfailing love come to me, O Lord,
Your salvation according to Your promise;
Then I will answer the one who taunts me,
For I trust in Your word.
Psalm 119:41-42

After more than two years, I finally gave in to the desire to chop off a significant length of hair. This decision came primarily from the fact that people kept mistaking me for a 16-year-old, and I felt that such a misapprehension could only hurt my attempts to find a career-job.
Plus I got tired of having to use tons of shampoo and conditioner in the shower. And I wanted a change. Hair-cutting is one of those nice things you can use for a big change, but if it turns out badly time will fix it. Now I get to figure out how to live with short hair again… Why does it seem like hairdressers tend to have the weirdest, at times worst hair styles?
I started my 3-day stint at NWABR yesterday. They have me making copies and collating binders, which feels a little odd after having done some real, honest-to-goodness work at Commonside. I just wish had done a better job finding something more befitting to a college Senior, rather than a high-school freshman. But it provides me with excellent contacts (I hope) as I start a real job search, and I also get experience with the Seattle public transportation system (busses, $2 per ride), which I hope to utilize more fully in the future as well. So not all bad, just exceedingly boring at NWABR. I look forward to Thursday evening, when I finish there and go pick Ian up at the airport, hopefully ending any significant separations for the forseeable future.
Lookin’ good!

Cute!
Now I’m itchin’ to lop mine off as well, which I tend to do about once every two years…
Yeah, I think about 2 years’ growth is all I can take at one time. After that it’s getting unbearably long.
