Day’s Verse:
Bread obtained by falsehood is sweet to a man,
But afterward his mouth will be filled with gravel.

I have had the most unlucky term ever as diseases go. At the very beginning of the term, I got a high fever for several days, followed up with a nice cold. Then last weekend I got pink eye. Then this Sunday I started feeling under the weather, and now without Tylenol I’m consistently running a fever of 102.4°. Yesterday I struggled through the day on high doses of Tylenol, but when I woke up this morning feeling exactly the same as I did yesterday morning, I had to question the sanity of just taking Tylenol and acting as normal as possible.
My body demands rest, lots of sleep and liquids, not constant pushing. Frustratingly, I have commitments I simply must meet: Going to my Surveying class, at least to turn in homework, doing the super-hard Surveying lab for four hours this afternoon, and running Women’s Bible Study. I am loath to miss my philosophy class, but in all honesty it can go if need be. But oh, Lord, I feel so horrible — exhausted, sick to my stomach from the high fever, sweaty but cold at the same time, sapped and weak so I can hardly hold up my arms to do a pony-tail. Sleep calls to me, but responsibilities beckon… Oh rest…
I completed my first FrameMaker-written manual. You can download it here: the Beginning Blogger’s Handbook, everything you need to know about how to start a blog with Blogger.
Hi Katie!
Didn’t you used to have an rss feed for your blog?
Gary
Once upon a time I did. I don’t know what happened to it when we ported over my blog to this new URL.
Mom and I are sorry you’re sick and think you need to skip something! Anything!
I hope you feel better soon. Take care of yourself 🙂
Feel better! You sound like you are having a really tough time. At least your car is happy.
