Day’s Verse:
Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…
Romans 12:1-2

Today I received a pair of socks through the interoffice mail. It arrived in a manila envelope addressed to me, in the BAC Technical Writing department; a sticky note affixed to the socks simply read, “Tx Katie.” This made me wonder what other strange things might you send through the interoffice mail. Some quick brainstorming on my part came up with this list:
- Cookies
- Highlighters
- Other clothes
- Photographs
- Llamas (v. small)
- Parts of am in-progress novel during NaNoWriMo
- Hairbands
- An engagement ring (v. romantic)
- Duct tape
- Hamburger patty
- Blackberries
Now is your opportunity to show me how creatively you think by answering the question: What strange, but not totally unacceptable, things would you send through Interoffice mail?
how about fishes wrapped in newspaper? or an easter egg?
oh i thought of something else. once my friends dad came into our 5th grade class to talk about his job as a trader on wall street, and he said on slow days they use the messaging system to prank each other. like one of their friends had a troll on his desk that he liked way to much. so they stole it and started running him ransom notes. they sent him threats with locks of troll hair attached, and they ended up sending a little troll ear taped to a sell slip.
and when i was on model un in high school (theres a note running system at meets) we used to try and hit on the other delegates to creep them out. “liberia, meet me in the bathroom in five minutes for a moderated caucus. we need to table to some issues. love, finland”
i think ive probably told you both of these stories before.
Well, I have no ideas about interoffice mail, having no experience with that, but I LOVED the troll story!

I knew various people who had received the above when working at Microsoft.
