And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
There’s something sadly unjust about time zones. Now that we’ve spent the last week here, I have mostly adjusted — bed at 10:00 pm, wake up at 6:30 or 7:00 am — and it’s time to go back to Massachusetts. Every trip we leave just as my sleep schedule shifts. Alas. Going East always hurts more time zone-wise than coming West, so I suppose I should consider having to wake up at 3:30 am PST just practice for getting back into our normal Eastern Time Zone routine. That doesn’t make waking up early hurt any less, though.
