Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.'”

For the first time all winter, I have had to concede a defeat due to snow.

Stupid Snow Defeat

I spent 20-odd minutes traveling 1.25 miles, a whopping 3.75-mph pace. At that point I realized that it would take somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 hours to get to work. That would be just about long enough for me to work for a couple hours, then turn around and head home again. I turned around, and it ultimately took me 37 minutes to travel 2.37 miles. That was the very best I could do, and it includes me walking and pushing my bike part of the way. I also fell once, going around a corner, my first snow fall in two winters of riding. It felt like falling into fluffy pillows.
