We are in NYC!

…for about an hour and a half, and I expect this to be my entire experience here: a glimpse of the skyline on the way in and then the interior of the station. We easily got to the Framingham thanks to very nice life group members who drove us; from there we rode to South Station, found our train, and comfortably rode in business class to Penn Station. Penn Station seriously confused us for a while, but then we found the extremely posh Club Acela, for first class passengers and passengers in sleeping cars — that’s us! So, expecting to get kicked out at any moment, we presented our tickets and they let us in with no fuss. Now I’m using their free internet in a corner computer booth near the special luggage holding area. There’s a printer and everything. Unfortunately, the blowing air smells like urine, rather ruining the expensive effect. Ian and I are by far the youngest passengers here; the average age probably exceeds 65 years. But who cares?
