We are at Al’s Oasis in Chamberlain, South Dakota. It’s much nicer than the place we stayed last night, an Aggie’s Inn-type experince (for those family members who remember that) at a place called the Budgeteer. More on that when I get home. Apparently we arrived at the height of hunting season, and there are tons of hunters here. I talked to a couple of guys who came all the way from Georgia to hunt! We have had a fast and productive trip so far, each taking approximately two 3-hour driving shifts. Missoula, Montana, here we come!
