Starting today, I’m going to (try to) post a picture (almost) every day of what life’s like here in the quarantine zone. We’re not technically, officially quarantined yet, but Mom’s been tested for COVID-19, and while we wait for the results, we’re keeping separate from everyone. After we get the results — hopefully tomorrow — I guess either we keep with quarantining for 14 more days, or we resume our regularly scheduled social distancing, which at least allowed me to meet up with friends for bike rides.
Without further ado, here’s the pandemic picture for today:
Thus far, beautiful weather has really saved our bacon. We can send Benji out to play by himself, and he mostly will (more time excavating The Hole!). In the afternoons, Ian takes Benji to parks while I go for bike rides and we all escape the house for an hour or two a day. It’s such a lifesaver. I cannot imagine what this would (will?) be like if it starts raining again.
As with everything, I’m going to let Future Katie deal with that if necessary. Meanwhile, I’ll continue to take things one day at a time. It’s all there is to do.
