Since we aren’t going back to school in person this school year, we needed to get organized about Benji’s school time. I made a big chart with sticky notes reflecting each scheduled or mandatory activity; Benji gets to choose when to do some things, but other things we’ve got set appointments with people.
Today during his French lesson, Benji learned to ask for a snack by saying, “Un goûter, s’il vous plaît.” Unfortunately Mommy promptly forgot the English word for “snack,” so now he’s going to have to use un goûter instead. Dang it, Mommy!
In other homeschool news, Benji’s tired of the mud pit for now, but not tired of playing with water. He’s moved on to “painting” our deck during recess time.
Hmm, this could be good practice. Maybe I could get him to help when we refinish the deck later in the season…
