Finally! Voting 2020

After four long years of incompetence, illegality, and immorality, capped off with nine months (so far) of complete leadership function, we finally get to have our say in who runs our country. Although I’m a very diligent voter and have rarely missed a vote, I have never looked forward more to exercising my civic duty.

We received our ballots on Thursday, and I immediately started filling it out.

Political Attack Ads: It Could Be Worse

Mark it down in the history books — first week I’ve ever posted two videos.

This awesome video, which I found via FactCheck, shoots down the notion that this election was the dirtiest-fighting one yet. Try the election of 1800; apparently current-day politicians have a lot to learn about mudslinging.

Also, it appears that my political views are, by and large, not popular with the majority of voters this year. Not everything is decided — Washington’s mail-in voting option ensures that we can drag out the uncertainty as long as possible — but of the known outcomes, most aren’t exactly what I hoped for. Ah well, maybe next time.
